A Message From the Principal

On behalf of the St James Primary community, I extend to you a very warm welcome.

Located in Banora Point (Tweed Heads), St James Primary School provides quality education to families where all ‘May have life – Life in its fullness’ John 10:10. The Catholic identity and tradition of the school are characterised by Christian attitudes, values and practices in a welcoming and caring educational environment. As such, we aim to support students as they learn to respond to the Gospel in their daily lives and explore their emerging role in society by providing a learning environment that supports their intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and social development.

We pride ourselves on offering a broad and versatile curriculum based on the Diocese of Lismore Contemporary Learning Framework that is designed to build independence, self-responsibility and resilience. Our learning spaces provide opportunities for both independent and collaborative learning, whereby personal growth and the pursuit of learning within the Catholic context is nurtured, promoted and celebrated in partnership with parents, pastors, parish and the wider community.

I encourage you to explore our website and discover more about the journey of learning, joy and faith that our students encounter at St. James Primary. Should you be interested in enrolling your child/ren at St James Primary School, please contact our school office to enquire further.
